Although Pythagorus is best known for his eponymous theorem, I believe that his greatest lesson is that everything can be explained with numbers, that Mathematics is quintessential to everything in life.

From a very young age I was passionate about Math and its usefulness in daily life. Over the last 20+ years my particular interests have narrowed and converged to using Operational Research methods to solve socioeconomic, environmental and energy issues that are challenging both mankind and our planet today.

While industrialism and capitalism have driven improvements to our quality of life, they have also damaged our planet; our world is in flames (both literally and figuratively). To rectify the destruction inflicted we must change our individual and collective habits - activities that can be modelled and improved using Operational Research. By modeling our behaviours we can gain insight into the potential effects of solution options and make informed decisions.
